Why should I come along?

Does your world keep going faster? Do you go ever faster to try to keep up? Is your work/life out of balance? Have you got insufficient time for yourself and your own well-being? And does all that cause you stress? It’s a familiar story for many busy executives these days.

Executive Yoga will give you ideas to quieten your mind, relax and stretch your body. You’ll learn some “easy to do” activities ideal for your workplace.

What will happen?

This is a programme of 90 minute yoga sessions and discussions, suitable for beginners and more experienced students. You’ll learn about:

  • Stretching postures, suitable for the office, boardroom, airport or train.
  • Meditation techniques – wherever you can shut your eyes.
  • Breathing exercises – you really can do them anywhere!
  • All designed to relax your body and clear your mind

Who's leading it?

Alan Ross is a yoga teacher, qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga Diploma. Alan has been practising yoga since 1989. His teaching style is aimed at busy business people – it’s slow, yet gently challenging, and unites mind, breath and body – the very essence and meaning of yoga. Alan was a company director in blue chip companies until becoming a business coach and setting up ARK Associates in 1994. Yoga philosophy is increasingly a key element of ARK’s coaching style.
